About GKB

Good Karma Broadcasting (GKB) LLC was founded by President/CEO Craig Karmazin on August 20, 1997. The company completed its first acquisition in December of 1997, entering the Beaver Dam, WI (WBEV-AM and WXRO-FM) and Madison, WI (WTLX-FM) markets.

In the next four years, GKB continued its growth in Southern Wisconsin with the purchases of stations in Watertown, WI (WTTN-AM) and Janesville, WI (WWHG-FM and WTJK-AM).

At this point, it was determined that the company had a passion and competence in sports marketing and began to seek strategic opportunities in Top 50 markets. The first of these was West Palm Beach, FL (WEFL-AM) in 2003. ESPN 760 was able to fill a void in the largest market without a sports radio station.

The following year GKB entered the largest market in its home state as Milwaukee, WI (WAUK-AM) became the third GKB sports station in the state of Wisconsin.

Two years later the company entered the Cleveland, OH market with the purchase of two stations (WWGK-AM and WKNR-AM) within six months.

In 2008, GKB entered the Spanish sports market in Milwaukee, WI (WRRD-AM) with the creation of ESPN Deportes 1510.

In January 2009, WTLX-FM became FM 100.5 ESPN. Later that year, WTTN-AM became the home for Spanish sports in Madison, WI as ESPN Deportes 1580.

This gives GKB eight ESPN affiliated stations including seven in Top 100 markets.

GKB credits its success to its roots in Beaver Dam, WI. The strong work ethic and customer-driven approach learned in Beaver Dam have been the foundation of GKB's teams in each of its other markets.

What started as a broadcast company has grown into a marketing enterprise with an expertise in digital, mobile, event, radio, television partnerships, sponsorships, and personality endorsements.

GKB values each of its fans, teammates, and marketing partners and is driven to grow its relationships with all of them.
